Google maps told us when we were passing it on the highway, but just know that if you want to see him, you have to go on campus to park (free parking) and pay to get into Reiman Gardens. It is well worth it, not just to see Elwood, but for the butterflies and beautiful plants and flowers.

Well worth a visit! The gardens are gorgeous and diverse. The giant gnome is excellent and fairly easy to get to. You can borrow a mobility scooter at the front desk, and almost all the paths throughout the gardens are very easy to navigate on the scooter.

The giant gnome is just one of many wonderful things here. Reiman Garden is an absolutely beautiful place to stop and explore. It is in an easy to get to location with ample free parking. $12 adults $11 seniors $6 children - free for SNAP benefit recipients.

A beautiful garden destination. Admission was reasonable and the grounds are arranged so you feel like an explorer, many different areas to discover and explore. A nice place for children to be outside and appreciate nature. The plants were all in healthy condition and I enjoyed seeing some new varieties of plants and plant combinations. My husband is not a gardener, but he enjoyed the relaxing walkways and benches with broad beautiful views. We stayed for an hour and a half and seemed to see most everything without rushing. At the time we attended, 4th of July holiday; there were not many options to eat (the retail store at the front had cold bottled beverages and some kind bars and baby bell cheese.). Restrooms were easy to access throughout the gardens and many of the trails were wheelchair accessible. They also had nooks and crannies through the large lawns and under trees to enjoy. Overall, highly recommended to gardeners and others.

We go every year for the Spirits in the Garden and the Holiday lights. Our kids are 7 and 11 now and always enjoy walking through the gardens, even if it's cold. Both events are ticketed and best bought in advance. There's usually hot cocoa and or cider available to purchase in the garden.
